{ Lori }

Well...after waking up late, driving an hour into the middle of nowhere, and standing outside in 23 degree weather, I will say...these pictures turned out pretty darn good! I truly enjoyed this photo shoot with a very dear friend of mine. Lori is having a baby girl in February and I was the lucky one to get to document this unforgettable time in her life. We couldn't have asked for a better place to take the pictures. So many photo opportunities and beautiful rustic backdrops. I can't wait to meet little baby Camden! I hope I get to add her baby pictures to my repertoire!

Thanks for stopping by! Take care!

{Josie}

What a sweet little girl with a sweet little name! {Josie} Her mommy was kind enough to let me come take some pictures of her at 2 weeks old. She is the youngest child out of 8 children! These pictures were taken outside at her grandma's house out in the country. I used some props and she had a few outfit changes...

I think these turned out great. I wish I could have taken more. Here she is...

Hope you enjoyed seeing this sweet face. Thanks for stopping by. Take care!

Wet and Wild Eyeshadow Trios

Do you remember that one time you tried Wet and Wild products and realized why they were so cheap? They had no pigmentation whatsoever, you had to rub and rub and rub just to get some product on the brush, and before you walked out the door you couldn't even tell you had put makeup on...well, guess what? Wet and Wild products are now some of my FAVORITES! They have really stepped up and their products are SOOOOO much better than what they used to be. I always find myself looking at the new eyeshadows and color pallets before I check out the more expensive drug store products. I just bought some liquid eyeliner that is from Wet and Wild that I'll be doing a separate review on soon. (p.s. I really like it so far!)

 Here are 3 trios I just recently purchased from Wet and Wild. They are labeled "Browbone", "Crease", and "Eyelid" but I don't always follow that. I usually just play around with the shades and do what I like.
 From left to right: "I'm Getting Sunburned", "I'm Feeling Retro", and "I've Got Good Jeans"

Swatches

These swatches were made with just one swipe of my finger and you can see how good the pigmentation is especially on the darker shades. The lighter shades have a good payoff as well.

Let me know if you have tried any other colors and what you think about them.
Thanks for stopping by! Take care.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Review

The Maybelline Color Tattoo creme eyeshadows are a must have in your eyeshadow collection. I was a little skeptical about trying another creme eyeshadow but these are definitely a step above the rest. These eyeshadows are great quality considering they are from the drugstore.  Most of the creme eyeshadows I have tried from the drugstore, crease within the first hour of wear. These eyeshadow are very smooth and creamy and easy to apply with your finger or a makeup brush. I usually use my finger and then a fluffy eyeshadow brush to buff out the harsh line. The Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows have excellent color pigmentation (see swatches below) and excellent staying power, especially when topped with a powder eyeshadow.

On a typical work day, I put my eyeshadow on at about 6:15 every morning. It still looks great, without creases - make sure you apply a base/primer under them - when I get home from work in the evening. I would highly reccommend this product.

Here are the swatches and colors of the ones I have...

 Colors from left to right: (top row) Bad to the Bronze, Too Cool, Mossy Green, (bottom row) Gold Shimmer, Pomegranate Punk, and Tough as Taupe.

Overall, great product to have. Let me know if you have tried these eyeshadows and what you think about them. Do you have any other colors? Thanks for visiting and I hope you'll come back! Take care!

Revlon Lip Butters

Here goes my first review on a makeup product. I {heart} makeup and I have been wanting to do product reviews for a while. I am completely taken by the new Revlon Lip Butters. Here are the ones I have purchased.

In order from left to right: Sweet Tart, Fig Jam, Red Velvet, Cupcake,
Peach Parfait, Creme Brulee and Pink Truffle.

These lip butters are so moisturizing and they are the perfect essential to keep in your purse, gym bag, coat pocket, or even your diaper bag (if you have one like I do...). Instead of using a chapstick or some kind of clear lip balm, this does the trick AND adds some color to your lips.

Swatches:
The colors are in order as mentioned above.

I would definitely recommend these Revlon Lip Butters to anyone interested in a very moisturizing lip balm with color. My favorite is the Peach Parfait. Is the only one out of the bunch that has shimmer. I personally think that the Fig Jam, Red Velvet, and Pink Truffle are great colors for fall. All of the colors that I have are both very pigmented and have decent staying power.

Let me know what you think about the Revlon Lip Butters. Would you recommend them?
Thanks for visiting my blog. Take care!
